Semi-Permanent Make-Up Explained

Semi-permanent make up is soft colour enhancements to enhance facial features and can also be used medically on other parts of our body i.e. recreating areola. Also referred to as 'Micropigmentation' is the process of applying micro insertions of pigment into the dermal layer of the skin using a specially designed digital machine controlling with a sterile probe. 

It is similar to tattooing but less traumatic to the skin in application and will fade over time. It will remain visible for a period of time which varies for each individual and is determined by aftercare, skin type, lifestyle and maintenance/colour refresh to keep it looking fresh and defined. 

The purpose of having permanent make up is not to replace your make up products but to limit your time spent on needing to apply make up, feeling like you may no longer need make up as much as what you did before and to enhance your natural beauty!
