Frequently Asked Questions

Permanent Make Up, Full Lip Blush Pigment

Do Permanent Cosmetic Procedures Hurt?

There may be a slight discomfort to begin with, however anaesthetic gel is used to make the procedure more comfortable and as pain free as possible.

Are There Any Age Restrictions?

Yes, you need to be over 18 years of age for any permanent make up procedure.

What Circumstances Am I Unable To Have SMPU Done?

  • If you are pregnant or breast feeding.
  • If you suffer from haemophilia.
  • If you have Hepatitis B/AIDS.
  • Certain medical conditions.

Are Deposits Required?

Yes, the minimum deposit amount is £50 to secure a booking. Cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours prior to treatment day and you will be refunded. Any cancellations after this time frame will be non-refundable. If you fail to disclose vital health information that result in us being unable to proceed with the treatment(s), your deposit will not be refunded.

Do You Need To Remove My Natural Brow Hair?

No, my goal is to enhance what you already have and use your natural beauty to my advantage with permanent make up. I will groom your eyebrows before the procedure and remove any eyebrow hair that is out-with the agreed shape. (Do not shave off your brows)

How Long Will SPMU Last?

Permanent Make up can last anywhere between 12 months to several years. It all depends on several factors:

  • Skin type.
  • Sun exposure (Including sunbeds).
  • Certain medical conditions.
  • Lifestyle/Aftercare.

I recommend an annual top up between 12 to 18 months to maintain perfect results.

How Long Does SPMU Take To Heal?

Surface healing takes 7 to 10 days; however, it takes a minimum of roughly 28 days to completely heal and for you to be able to see the final result. Some may take longer to heal depending on the age and condition of skin, the older you are, the longer it takes to heal.

Can I Have SPMU Treatments if I Have Botox/Fillers?

Yes! However, If your SPMU treatment is in an area where you have botox or filler present, then I do recommend waiting a minimum of 4 weeks, preferably 6 weeks between your botox treatment and your SMPU treatment. This is to allow a sufficient time for you to heal from your botox treatment and to allow the products to fully settle.

Cancellation Policy

I ask that you give 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule/cancel your appointment. Failure of notification or failure to attend appointments will incur a £15 treatment charge & deposit will not be refunded.

Are There Public Transport Links Local To You?

Yes! Easterhouse train station is a 10/15 minute walk.
